Hi there! Did you know speaking Travel French is easier than you think? Especially if you take it step by step. I had the joy of living in France for 13 years. Since that time, I've been teaching French to adults and teens one-on-one, in senior centers, at a community college, and in French companies. (And I've taught English in France too!)

I can teach you to be operational in France for your next trip, whether for vacation or for business. You'll be so proud of yourself talking in the local language!

I have a France-only website, Oliver's France, full of destination ideas, tips, and resources. You may also find my books helpful for travel: Magical Paris: Over 100 Things to Do Across Paris and A French Garden: The Loire Valley.

“Real French for Travelers” online training is excellent! This training provided the right topics at the right pace for me to learn French. The videos are like having a class, but have the advantage that one can review as much as one wants. Kyle explains the topics very clearly. Besides her natural teaching talent, I also think that the student benefits from her many years of teaching and of course her personal experience living in France. The training combines videos with grammar and practical exercises. There are also QuickStart phrases that are fantastic for travel as they cover everyday topics that one for sure will need. I also enjoy the listening exercises as one has to get familiar with French! My experience studying “Real French for Travelers” could not be better! Cris L.

Real French for Travelers is the ideal course for learning practical French that can be used on a vacation to France, a business trip or to fulfill a personal goal. Each lesson is highly focused on a particular topic and is just the right length - short enough to keep the student's focus but long enough to ensure mastery of the particular concept being covered. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking for an easy, cost-effective way to master practical conversational French. Quentin S.

Learning basic French is much easier than you think. This course starts from zero and each lesson is between 5 and 20 minutes long. Lessons are clear and short enough that you can listen several times. Then, the workbook guides you through additional explanations and exercises (which you can correct with the answer key!) Don't the French dislike it when foreigners don't speak their language well?
This is a myth. You are far more likely to get a warm reception if you make an effort than if you don't. Even learning polite words and phrases alone will give you better contact with locals. Learning basic French before your trip will give you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction with every new concept you learn and practice.
